Gynefix®

Frameless coil (amorphous), fitted inside a foam mould that simulates a uterus.

The especially well tolerated frameless coil was developed in 1984 by Belgian Dirk Wildemeersch: A polypropylen filament containing copper beads is anchored into the wall of the uterus. Due to the flexible form of the filament side effects are very rare.
