Multiload Mark II cu 380
Based on the Multiload IUD, van Os further improved it. The goal was to optimise the insertion technique, especially preventing perforation during insertion. This is a dangerous event especially in developing countries. and to prevent breakage of the arms during removal which had occured in few cases.
To reach that goal, a complicated new inserter was developed. However in practise this inserter did not work properly in clinical routine. The project was then abandoned.
