Coca-Cola

According to various myths, Coca-Cola is a reliable contraceptive: in the early 20th century, this carbonated beverage was sometimes employed immediately after intercourse to rinse the vagina.

Teenagers violently shook the unsuspicious bottles, or those of other brands, before using them as a kind of douche. This lasted into the 1950s.

As can be imagined, this application was impractical and wholly ineffective. Studies have shown that neither Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Pepsi nor other, similar products have any kind of negative effect on sperm.
